He studied Digital Marketing Analysis at Massachusetts Institute of Technology / MIT Sloan School. He completed his marketing specialization education on Marketing and Digital Technologies at the University of California, Berkeley. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, with a focus on marketing, at Istanbul University – Faculty of Business Administration. He also studied academic language and studio photography at W.Rice University.
He received long-term technology and international marketing trainings and certificates from different institutions and organizations such as Microsoft, Ministry of National Education, Google, IBM, Marmara University, Boğaziçi University, York Trade. He wrote the books about Behavioral Marketing, Communication Technologies and Digital Photography. Capital, Brandmap, Economist, Digitalage, Para, Mediacat, Marketing Turkiye, Export, Entrepreneurship, Hurriyet, many newspapers and magazines are also published his articles about brand and digital marketing. During the business period, he won more than 30 awards within the scope of the projects as Yotube Global Advertising Success, LG Global Viral Video Production Award, MEA Best Advergaming Award, MEA Social Support Project Award etc.
Erkan Terzi, who has been working nationally / Turkey and internationally in the field of Marketing and Digital Interactive Solutions for nearly 21 years, has worked as a specialist and manager in brand marketing and digital marketing in Istanbul and San Francisco for Koç Allianz, Aksigorta, Comcast Spotlight, Simfer, Ziylan Group brands. At the same time, he prepared consultancy and strategy plans for many companies and brands such as ESI, Mekappa, Marketing Türkiye, Arçelik, KTO both domestically and abroad. In 2015, he started to work as Digital Marketing Manager at LG Electronics Company; then as Manager of Brand & Digital Marketing has continued to serve until March, 2021.
Now actively he has been working for ASELSAN as “Brand and Digital Communication Lead”.
Erkan Terzi is married and has two children. Now he has been writing new book: New Continent – Digital Marketing. He continues his projects in the field of Marketing and Digital Technologies.
